10 years later, most of us have moved on. But for many of us, moving on means not mourning, but celebrating the lives of the firefighters, police, emts, court officers and federal agents who will forever remain our heroes. The fallen Heroes of September 11th is a story about a man with a vision, and the many people who worked with him to build the memorial wall in Coney Island. It’s an inspiring story, about compassion, dedication and most of all, strength. The effort would unite strangers, families, volunteers and first responders themselves- all dedicated to remembering not just a great loss, but the remarkable lives of the men and women on the Wall.
